The Super Bowl matchup will be #4 LIons’ Year vs. #20 Greene Machine. The Super Bowl is a little different as you can pick the side (KC or SF) or Over or Under the total as the POW. The software doesn’t allow for that so I’ll send an email to each player.

The Final 4 is now set. #1 Micktastic (-3) loses to #20 Greene Machine (+1), #2 Old School Bandits (+2) squeaks by #17 NateG5791 (+1), #3 Air Jordan (-3) was eliminated by #9 Chark (+1) and #4 Lions’ Year (+3) defeats #7 Schuetzy (+1).

After a weekend where we saw a rookie QB dominate the #1 overall defense, Jordan Love kicking the fraud Cowboys to the curb, the Lions win their 1st playoff game and Josh Allen breaking off a 50+ yard run, there has to be a lot of happy people in this group.

Week 18 goes to Double Deuce as he finishes the week with +11 defeating Mad Max in the Sunday Bowl. That was Double Deuce’s 1st weekly win of the season.
Micktastic had a historic season finishing with +50. The amazing part is that he had a losing POW record going 8-9. I need to go back into my database and see if +50 is a record, but it’s really close if it isn’t. Micktastic takes home the biggest prize in MSP NFL history. In a distant 2nd place is Old School Bandits at +33 followed by Air Jordan in 3rd at +32.
We had 3 players (Lions’ Year, Rondone and Jalen Hurts so Good) who ended at +30 so the tiebreakers come into play. The first tiebreaker is total POW wins which both Lions’ Year and Rondone had 12 while Jalen Hurts So Good had 9 dropping Jalen Hurts So Good to 6th place. The 2nd tiebreaker is Monday Night Football wins which Lions’ Year has 10 vs. Rondone’s 9 so Lions’ Year is 4th and Rondone finishes in 5th.
Rounding out the top 8 is Schuetzy in 7th place with +29 and Barry Mcockiner in 8th at +28. The top 8 receive prizes as shown on the home page.
The Playoffs start next week. #1 Micktastic, #2 Old School Bandits, #3 Air Jordan and #4 Lions’ Year get a bye week. Seeds #5 – #20 will participate in a 1 week competition where the top 4 scores advancing to play individual match ups vs. the top 4 seeds. The matchups in the 2nd round will be determined by each player’s seed. WEEK 18 PRE-SNF UPDATE: MICKTASTIC TAKES SEASON TITLE; MAD MAX VS. DOUBLE DEUCE IN SUNDAY BOWL
Mad Max and Double Deuce are both +10 going into the AFC Championship Game (aka Sunday Night Football). The Sunday Bowl is Mad Max as Miami vs. Double Duece as Buffalo.
Micktastic currently at +49 has clinched the season title and will be the #1 seed heading into the playoffs. The Old School Bandits at +33 has clinched 2nd place while Air Jordan at +32 clinches 3rd place. It appears Lions’ Year will clinch 4th place as he will win the number of POW wins tiebreaker over Jalen Hurts So Good and Rondone (who can tie Lions’ Year with a Buffalo cover).
The final seedings for 5th place and beyond will not be determined until after Sunday Night Football
The top 4 seeds win prize money and have a BYE for the Wildcard Playoff Round. Seeds 5-8 win their entry fee back and will be in the Wild Card Playoffs with seeds 9-20. Top 4 finishers next week play in individual match ups with seeds #1-#4.
Bizarro Mister Sam finishes Week 16 at +11 to get his first weekly win. His alter-ego Mister Sam finishes at +10.
Micktastic had yet another strong week with a +7 and extends his league lead to 13 point currently at +44. Old School Bandits is in 2nd at +31 and has a POW tiebreaker lead over Lions’ Year who also is at +31. Air Jordan is in 4th at +28.
